American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

AFSP was founded in 1987 by researchers and families who had lost loved ones and wanted to take action against this leading cause of death. Today we are the voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action and save lives.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP New Hampshire creates a culture that’s smart about mental health through education and community programs, advocating for smart legislation, offering mental and suicide prevention resources and providing support for those affected by suicide.
