Who We Are
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
The Salvation Army of Nashua was founded in 1892. 2019 marks the 127th year of The Salvation Army’s continuous service in the greater Nashua area. The Salvation Army serves anyone in need of basic human necessities. This includes low income, underprivileged, unemployed and underemployed individuals and families.
What We Do
More than just a hot meal, a warm coat or a helping hand, The Salvation Army is about changing people’s lives. Every person who walks through our doors is someone special, a person with potential and a God-given opportunity for their life. We give people the opportunity to belong, to grow and to succeed, and we do it every day. With this in mind, we labor with compassion and dedication to help people have a sense of belonging, to realize their potential, to help them grow beyond their circumstances toward personal success.
