Needs From: Volunteer Greater Nashua

Do you want to make a significant difference in another person’s life? The Nashua Adult Learning Center is seeking Volunteer Tutors to work 1-on-1 or in small groups with students in our ESL (English for Speakers of other Languages) and ABE (Adult Basic Education) programs. No previous teaching experience required, and you don't need an advanced degree or the ability to speak any language other than English! Help a student practice English Conversation, Grammar, and Vocabulary; or help a student with Reading, Writing, Math, Science, or Social Studies, in preparation for their High School Equivalency Test - your choice! We can match you with a student who will fit your strengths, interests, and schedule. Tutoring can be done in-person or online. We provide training and materials.
