Do you have construction, carpentry, home repair, or skilled trade experience? Habitat for Humanity Greater Nashua Manchester is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Critical Home Repair (CHR) Volunteer Team.
Our Critical Home Repair program helps local homeowners complete essential repairs that improve safety, accessibility, and quality of life—allowing them to remain in the homes and neighborhoods they love. Projects may include wheelchair ramps, flooring repairs, accessibility modifications, weatherization, exterior repairs, and other critical home improvements.
We are building a roster of skilled volunteers who are interested in serving on an ongoing basis. Once approved, volunteers will be added to our CHR Team and contacted by our Critical Home Repair Manager, Steve, when projects arise that match their skills and availability. There is no set schedule or minimum number of projects required; volunteers can choose opportunities that fit their availability.
Volunteers must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have some construction, home repair, or related trade experience
- Complete a volunteer application and background check
- Be willing to serve throughout our Greater Nashua–Manchester service area
Because every project is unique, dates, locations, and skill needs will vary. We are looking for individuals who would like to be part of an ongoing team committed to helping local homeowners maintain safe and healthy living conditions. If you're ready to use your skills to make a lasting impact in our community, we'd love to hear from you.
