United Way Community Farming Day of Caring

On April 27th we will be teaming up with Grow Nashua and Regenerative Roots Association to build out the "ReGenerative Roots Community Farm" at Sullivan Farm. People who will work the land have spent the last year learning farming techniques to become food secure… no small task in the rough farming conditions of New England! We will be building out roughly 15,000 square feed of space on land committed to the project by the owners of Sullivan Farm. Activities will include installing roughly 150 yards of soil into raised beds and beginning the prep work for the building of a fence. This will be a fun event for all of those who love digging in the dirt for the good of community. We will need at least 100 volunteers to make this day a big success!

Please plan on bringing any / all of the following: work gloves, shovels, spades, rakes, wheel barrels, and hoes. Please wear sturdy shoes for this outdoor event. This is a kid friendly event!
