Description

On January 25, United Way will be hosting Nashua’s second annual Blizzard Blast. This is a 3-4 mile winter obstacle race from the Nashua Millyard, along the Nashua River, through Mine Falls Park and back… 20+ obstacles. 

Volunteer to help and you'll receive a free registration to the race!  If you plan to participate in the race and would like to volunteer, please sign up for a volunteer spot prior to your race time if possible. 

There are several shifts and tasks available for volunteers to assist with. Please let us know if you have questions by emailing sceaser@unitedwaynashua.org or calling (603)864-0201.

 

Obstacle Monitor - Volunteers for this task will be assigned to a particular obstacle on the course. They will explain the obstacle to runners and monitor for safety. 

Course Monitor - Volunteers for this task will walk between particular obstacles monitoring for runner safety. 

Parking - Volunteers will direct arriving runners and spectators to available parking. 

Directions - Volunteers will point runners in the direction of the course, bag check, etc. 

Start / Finish - Volunteers will staff the start / finish area. 

The volunteers for these tasks will be outdoors. You will be contacted via email to select one of the following tasks within your selected shift.
