Volunteers are needed to collect donations of diapers at Greater Nashua area supermarkets on Saturday, Ocotber 17th. The diapers will be given to attendees of United Way of Greater Nashua's "Community Baby Shower". The "Community Baby Shower" supports local new families who would not ordinarily be thrown a baby shower by friends and family.
Volunteers will be stationed at stores like Shaws, Hannaford, and Sam's Club between 9am and 2pm to collect donations of diapers from the stores' customers. Two volunteers will be assigned to each store entrance and will hand out flyers about the project to customers as they enter the store. Volunteers will meet at the United Way office at 8:15am At the end of the shift, all donated diapers will be taken to the United Way of Greater Nashua office.
