Volunteers are needed to collect school supply donations from shoppers at the Staples stores in Amherst and South Nashua on Wednesday, August 3rd through Saturday, August 6th. Three volunteers are needed at each of two 3-hour shifts per day per store. Volunteers will also be assigned to accept donations at the United Way of Greater Nashua office at 20 Broad Street in Nashua.
Duties - Volunteers will be stationed outside the store entrance or outside the United Way office between 10am and 1pm or 1pm and 4pm and will be handing out flyers and encouraging interested shoppers to purchase extra items.
One volunteer for the afternoon shift at each store will be asked to bring the collected items to the United Way office after their shift.
Children are welcome to volunteer but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if they are under 15.
