Helping UW at Nashua Multicultural Festival

Expired

Description

Volunteer Responsibilities: Volunteers will primarily support young people in engaging with our fun activities, allowing their parents to learn about our programs. United Way staff will be there to guide you initially, so you won’t be on your own. Here are some of the activities you’ll be helping with:

Stuffie School: Kids will teach their stuffed animals how they learned in their countries of origin.
World Map Activity: Participants of all ages can mark their birthplaces on a large map.

About the Nashua Multicultural Festival: The Nashua Multicultural Festival is a vibrant celebration of the diverse cultures that make up our community. It aims to foster understanding and appreciation of different cultural backgrounds through various activities, performances, and informational booths. This event has a rich history of bringing people together to celebrate our shared humanity and learn from one another.

Your participation as a volunteer will be invaluable in creating a welcoming and educational environment for all attendees. If you are available and interested in volunteering, please reply to this email with your preferred shift.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at the festival!
