Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We aim to provide an environment in which members feel physically and emotionally safe, gain support and recognition from caring adults, have the opportunity to try new things, have fun and feel a sense of belonging! The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua is currently looking for new campers and volunteers to participate within our Camp Mariposa program. Camp Mariposa is a year round prevention camp for youth ages 9-18 who are affected by the substance misuse of a family member. Camp takes place one weekend a month alternating teen and youth. Campers will participate in a wide range of activities including arts & crafts, social recreation, and clinical sessions. We need volunteers/mentors to help with organization, supervision, and mentoring the youth, as well as being supportive and having fun! I’m hoping you can help with spreading the word to others.
