Every 3 weeks a group of parents (Nashua Family Network) meet from 5-7pm at Arlington St. Community Center in Nashua on Wednesday evenings. We are seeking help to watch our children in a separate room, while we discuss goals we have for our community, plan events, and learn. Parents are right across the hall. Childcare volunteers do not help with any diapering or bathroom needs.
We are seeking nurturing volunteers who will engage children and keep them safe. The room is equipped with toys and art supplies. Typically there are 5-10 children ages 1 year to 12 years old. Ideally there are 2 adult volunteers, and 2-3 teen volunteers. To be able to volunteer at Arlington St. Community Center (ASCC's) you must get a background check through the City of Nashua, and be aware of ASCC's volunteer procedures.
