Description

Join the Wee Read United Volunteer Team!

We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help support the Wee Read United program, where we encourage early literacy and creative learning with preschool children (ages 3-5) at various childcare centers across the Greater Nashua area.

What Will Volunteers Do?

  • Read to children: Volunteers will lead weekly storytime sessions, reading engaging books that captivate young minds.
  • Guide craft activities: After the story, you’ll lead children in crafts related to the theme of the book, helping them express their creativity and develop fine motor skills.
  • Work as a team: Volunteers will pair up to create a fun and nurturing environment for the kids, making a real difference in their early development.

Commitment & Requirements:

  • The Wee Read United program takes place weekly at each childcare center, so we are looking for volunteers who can commit to attending regularly.
  • All volunteers must undergo a background check to ensure a safe environment for the children.
  • This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to early childhood education and foster a love of reading and creativity in young children.

Where & When:

  • The sessions will be held at various childcare centers throughout the Greater Nashua area. Locations and times will be provided upon signing up.

If you’re passionate about early childhood education and want to help nurture the next generation of learners, we’d love for you to join our volunteer team!
