Each year, United Way of Greater Nashua brings together a group of volunteers to create over 500 gift packages of useful items for low-income, homebound seniors. These kits contain both useful items like batteries, hand cream, and gripper socks and items that bring cheer, like hot chocolate, coffee and tea, and puzzle books.
February 2rd Item Sorting - Volunteers will sort donated items into piles of like items.
February 3th Kit Packing - Volunteers will pack items into kits which will be delivered to organizations serving low-income homebound seniors.
February 4th Kit Packing 10am - 1pm - Volunteers will finalize kit packing.
February 4th Kit Delivery 1pm - 3pm - Volunteers with large vehicles will deliver the packed kits to places like Meals on Wheels, Gateways Adult Day Center, and others.
