Volunteers will be helping with event set up, setting up auction items, signage, pre-dinner games and check-in desks. Various tasks are available and will be assigned on ability and comfort levels. Full training provided for all positions.
Guests check-in - Welcoming guests, handing them their auction paddles. Assisting Head event check-in. Will work in a pair with a Habitat staff member or volunteer.
Game table hosts - Welcoming and interacting with gala guests at your table, simple games for pre-dinner entertainment and fundraising (working in pairs/cash handling involved)
Selling raffle tickets (working in pairs/ cash handling involved)
Silent auction assistant - Welcoming guests, providing information on items, helping guests place bids, informing guests of closing times and collecting items etc.
Coat Check-out - Thanking guests for their attendance and participation, collect claim tags and retrieving coats/hats etc
