Grow Nashua is teaming up with Amherst Street School to teach students all about maple sugaring in New Hampshire!
The program will consist of 4 alternating stations that each feature a fun activity for students to participate in. They will taste sugar maple sap, finished maple syrup, learn about tree biology and identification, tap a sugar maple tree, and more! We are looking for volunteers to act as station hosts and/or assist station hosts. The date of this program is Tuesday March 3rd, with an inclement weather date of Thursday March 5. This program will be outdoors in a small forested area, so please dress appropriately.
Please let us know when registering if you are not available for the March 5th date in the case of inclement weather.
