2019 United Way Community Baby Shower
Collection Day at Old Navy - Saturdays, 4/4 & 4/11: Volunteers will be stationed inside the Old Navy store on Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua to encourage store patrons to donate items they purchase that day.
Sorting Shift - Friday, 5/20: Volunteers will help sort donated items at the United Way offices at 20 Broad Street, Nashua.
Set-Up Shift - Wednesday, 5/27: Volunteers will help set up tables and organize the layout of the room. Volunteers will also help unload and sort donated items for the baby boutique.
First Shift - Thursday, 5/28: Volunteers will put the finishing touches on set up, post directional signs to guide parents, set up and staff registration, prepare and decorate dining area for the dinner, support agency partners that need assistance setting up their stations and other start-up logistics, meet and greet parents and provide info and general event directions as needed.
Childcare Room - Thursday, 5/28: Two volunteers are needed from 3pm to 6pm to help watch the children of the attendees of the Baby Shower. High School students with babysitting experience are welcome!
Second Shift - Thursday, 5/28: Volunteers will staff the baby boutique, troubleshoot for guests, set up and serve dinner, start the clean up process, assist parents loading their items into their vehicles, assist agencies, pack up left over items, general break down and event clean up. Clean up café after the meal.
Third Shift - Thursday, 5/28: Volunteers will help parents load up their cars, facilitate public shuttle bus pick up, assist agency partners with dismantling their displays and loading up their materials, break down and stack tables and chairs.
