Description

United Way of Greater Nashua has organized a one-day food drive to take place on Saturday, May 2. A large number of volunteers are needed quickly in order to accomplish our goals.

Volunteers at Stores

75 volunteers are needed to station themselves at food stores around the area to collect food donations from the stores' patrons. Volunteers will be assigned to stores in pairs and may sign up to volunteer in teams of two. Volunteers will be needed between 8am and 2pm. Volunteers should bring their own folding chair and small table to put flyers on.

Volunteers on Busses

In addition to this, volunteers are needed to ride city busses between 1pm and 4pm to pick up the donated food from stores participating in the project. 16 volunteers are needed for this portion of the project. Volunteers may sign up to volunteer in teams of 2.

Sorting Volunteers

On Tuesday, May 5, ten volunteers are needed to sort the donated items in to groupings to go to specific agencies around the area.  This project will likely take place between 9am and 12pm.
