Volunteers are needed to help distribute boxes of free food to 1200 families this Saturday, October 31st. Distribution will take place from 10am to 12pm with volunteers arriving at 9am to help set up. Volunteers should be able to lift around 20lb.
This event is sponsored by the USDA, Nashua School District and United Way and is intended to support any community member from the Greater Nashua area in need of food support. Boxes will contain 12lb produce, 5lb dairy products, 5lb meat, 1 gallon of milk.
This event will take place at Ledge Street School in Nashua.
