Want to make a positive difference in the lives of others? Touchstone Farm, an equine therapeutic and educational center located in Lyndeborough, NH is in need of volunteers to help with our school groups once again. We help at-risk youth, veterans, and children with disabilities throughout the year. Through the magical connection with horses and small animals, mentoring, and encouragement, they are able to improve their lives socially, physically, and cognitively.
Don’t you want to help in this journey? We will provide all of your training. Depending on your ability and comfort level, volunteers for these positions will assist weekly in one of two ways:
- Leading horses around the ring during lessons
- Walking next to the rider to ensure safety
You may join this important program by selecting the hours you are available each week. We need volunteers throughout the day so lesson times will vary once assigned to a lesson, that time slot will be the same week to week.
Monday - Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 8;00am – 3:30pm

Our lessons are outside or in a big indoor arena so social distancing is easy! Face masks will be worn at all times. (provided by Touchstone Farm, if you don’t have one) When arriving for shift, your temperature will be taken, and wellness questions asked.
Prior to working with Touchstone Farm, volunteers will be asked to authorize a background check and references, and complete a 1-hour in person instructor-led training. It’s all quick and easy. Links to start these credentials will be provided when you click the Volunteer button. When credentials are completed, Touchstone Farm will reach out to you to determine a convenient date for you to start volunteering. We hope to see you soon at Touchstone Farm!
