We will be packaging 20,000 meals with the Outreach Program on May 1st from 12-5:30. This project is going to do a lot of good in a power-packed 5 hours that starts with table setting up, hauling of raw items, building of boxes/bags and the meals in question, moving finished boxes to the vehicles of food insecurity programs, and a quick clean up!
We ask that volunteers arrive at noon, ready to dive in or be patient as we divide people to tasks. We will be providing a light lunch and welcome our 21+ volunteers to join us at Boston Billiards Club and Casino for a cocktail on us after the event. If you are not comfortable with any of these additional perks, please know that they are only optional. This is a replacement event for the club's normal Kentucky Derby party, so feel free to bring a fun hat, having your cocktail be a mint julep, and watch the Derby with us at Boston Billiards.
