Camp Mariposa a free weekend retreat camp run by the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, for children ages 9-12 and now open to teens ages 13-17 who are affected by substance use disorder of a loved one. Youth attend camp four to six times a year and participate in fun, traditional camp activities along with education and support exercises to learn critical life skills and self-care.
We are currently looking for caring adults that would truly like to make a difference in a child’s life by becoming one of our volunteer mentors we ask that you commit to attending four camp weekends throughout the year. Currently during COVID-19 we have been running in person day camps safely since July of 2020 and will continue to do so further until either the summer or fall.
For more information or to fill out an application please get in contact with Eric McCambly Director of Camp Mariposa at 603-883-0523 ext. 233 or emccambly@bgcn.com. All volunteer mentors in our program are subject to a background check and fingerprinting process.
