United Way of Greater Nashua has received a shipment of 1.5 million face masks from FEMA that we will be distributing to area nonprofits on Wednesday, September 15th, Thursday, September 16th, and Friday, September 17th from 8:45am to 4pm. We're looking for volunteers to help load 20lb boxes of masks into the vehicles of nonprofits arriving to pick them up.
Masks will be going to public and private K - 12 schools, preschools, colleges, hospitals, and medical centers, social service agencies, faith communities, and other nonprofits in need of masks as the necessity of indoor masking increases in our community.
This project will take place OUTSIDE at Law Logistics in Merrimack, NH.
Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We ask that volunteers not sign up for two shifts on the same day.
