Volunteers are needed to collect school supply donations from shoppers at the Staples stores in Amherst and South Nashua on Saturdays and Sundays, August 5, 6, 12, and 13. Three volunteers are needed at each of three 3-hour shifts per day per store.
Duties - Volunteers will be stationed outside the store entrance between 10am and 1pm, 1pm and 4pm, and 4pm - 7pm and will be handing out flyers and encouraging interested shoppers to purchase extra items.
One volunteer for the afternoon shift at each store will be asked to bring the collected items to the United Way office after their shift.
Children are welcome to volunteer but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if they are under 15
